A new approach for the think tank
The Advisory Group sees the need for new activities and has therefore been pushing the development of the new approach for the think tank.
Senior advisers
Senior advisers for SIFI at the start of Phase II are the following: Dr Lisa Holmgren, Mr. Åke Barklund, Ambassador Lennart Båge, Dr. Jonas Rönnberg, Mr. Jan Heino, Dr. Björn Lundgren, Professor Sten Nilsson and Professor Reidar Persson. The activities are initially based on project assignments with Dr. Fredrik Ingemarson as program director.
The agreement is signed
The Secretariat for International Forestry Issues (SIFI) was established in 2010 by The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA). 
In December 2013, an agreement was signed between KSLA (Director Carl-Anders Helander) and Capreolus F.I. (Program Manager Fredrik Ingemarson) securing the future platform for SIFI at Capreolus F.I.
Open for dialogue with stakeholders
The think tank is now again open for a dialogue with stakeholders on future missions around the challenges in managing the Earth’s resources and forestry capacity building.
