Forest plantations and woodlots in Ethiopia

This study was undertaken to document information on the current status of plantations and woodlots in Ethiopia, the challenges and opportunities they faced and future options available for improvement of their management.The study includes data on the current public and private sector plantation forests, their status, types and distribution and area coverage. The management status and the major limiting factors for better management of forest plantations and woodlots have been reviewed as well as other factors that influence sustainable forest management.
